Scope:
This Mauritian Standard specifies the requirements for treated manure from farm animals.
The standard is applicable to manure obtained from cattle, sheep, goat/sheep and poultry.
This standard is not applicable to non-biological soil amendments (physical or chemical such as synthetic fertilizers) and to soil amendments of non-animal origin such as yard waste, purely vegetative matter, or shrub trimmings.
