Scope: This Standard establishes the advanced requirements for sustainable crop production, focusing on Good Agricultural Practices to ensure food safety, environmental stewardship and farmer/worker welfare.
This Standard applies to open field and protected cultivation as well as to hydroponics, ornamentals and flowers.
This standard will be used for inspection and certification purposes of the crop production process from production to farmgate and / or packing.
This standard excludes the production and use of genetically modified organisms. Plants grown in nurseries are excluded.
