MS 42:2000 – Specification for Precast Concrete Building Blocks

Scope:
This Mauritian Standard specifies materials, tolerances and minimum perfomance levels for precast concrete blocks. It covers solid (including autoclaved aerated concrete), cellular and hollow concrete blocks not exceeding 650 mm in any work size dimension.
Precast concrete bricks, precast concrete paving blocks, and reconstructed stone masonry units are outside the scope of this standard.
