MS 71:1988 Specification for coated fabrics

Scope:
This Mauritian Standard specifies minimum performance requirements for fabrics coated on one or both sides with a suitable plasticized coating of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), intended for use in the manufacture of water resistant clothing.
This Standard does not specify the shades, general appearance and feel etc, of the coated fabric. In order to specify such indeterminable characteristics a sample may be agreed upon and sealed in this case. The supply shall be in comformity with the sample in respect of such parameters.
