MS 188:2016 Criteria for Ecolabeling for textile products

Scope:
This standard specifies the criteria for awarding an Ecolabel for the textile products. It includes criteria that any textile business should seek to achieve:

– minimization of the use of environmentally harmful substances

– reduction of water and air pollution

– reduction of energy consumption & GHG emissions, and

– minimization of waste generation  sourcing from more sustainable forms of agriculture and forestry
